THE ALCHEMY OF OUR FIBRES

This collection responds to Shivangi's conversations with members of the Naga community, nestled in the remote hills of northeast India, and the impact of their liminal identities located between nature and humanity. Rooted in the folklore and myths of Nagaland, furniture forms are imbued with the vibrant material culture where artifacts like weaponry, ornaments, and textiles have a profound connection with the spirits of the forest.
